Artisan Fermented Foods

Picture
The pre-fermented vegetables to be the longevity red kraut
Salt Air Cultures grew in response to a need my bodywork clients had for real food. I started making therapeutic dishes specifically for people's body/minds based on what was revealed in a shiatsu session.  If an organ and its associated meridian is excessive or deficient there are massage techniques to correct it externally or foods, or cooking methods to nourish it internally. This is inside/outside therapeutics.

While there is no one food or magic diet for everyone, there are traditional ways of preparing and preserving foods that have specific health benefits. These old ways have become less commonplace in our modern diet due to pasteurization and artificial food preservatives. Fermentation is a cornerstone of traditional food preparation. I began to see the need for many people to receive the benefits of enzyme-rich, probiotic, nutrient-dense foods. Fermentation has been a long time hobby and quirky passion of mine for many years, so it was a natural fit to begin to offer these delicious traditional foods to a larger population.

Specializing in a variety of lacto-fermented sauerkrauts and unpasteurized light and dark misos, Please inquire about current inventory, as seasonal shifts and microbes present the air will influence availability. Other nutrient-dense, traditional foods may also be prepared by personal request.

May your health and happiness be benefited from these foods.
